Kasen Kitchens is a senior music major at Abilene Christian University, where he works as the departmental theory and aural skills tutor. An active performer across campus and the community, Kasen serves as the YBP marching horn section leader, plays third horn in the Abilene Civic Orchestra, sings tenor in ACU’s A Cappella Chorus, and holds the offices of secretary and treasurer for the Alpha Sigma chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon.

As a composer, Kasen made his compositional debut with Cliffside Winds for wind quintet, premiered at his junior recital in December 2025 at the Williams Performing Arts Center. He is currently expanding his catalog with upcoming works featuring a new brass fanfare and a multi-movement suite for flute choir.
